Midwest Tool and Manufacturing Company is a family based company that has over 40 years of experience in designing and building quality cutting tools for a wide variety of industries.

 Larry Shelley started this business in December of '92. He had previously worked for a company located in Chicago. He personally has over 40 years experience in this field and remains the backbone of the operation by designing the cutters for each custom job. He takes great care in each piece and really enjoys what he does.

 Carol started in July '01 and is the office manager. She wears many hats, such as: processing orders, shipping orders, handling accounts payable, and etching id into products. She makes sure all paperwork is complete and oversees each job from start to finish.

 Robert is Larry’s son and started in March ’93. He is very versatile and can run any machine in the shop. His favorite machine to work on is their new wire EDM machine that makes the cutters to make the tools.
|
 Wally worked with Larry previously in Chicago and came to join Midwest tool in November ’93. With almost 20 years of experience, he is a vital craftsman as he runs the milling and lathe machines.

 Peter is Larry’s grandson which completes a 3 generation workforce here. He started working here in December ’05 and is in charge of “backing off” the products.
